Tomorrow, Mar. 19 is TCWRP's annual Saturday Reunion. This professional learning community refreshes my spirit, restores my faith in humanity, and reignites my passion for literacy. My digital note-taking practices have evolved thanks to numerous Zoom trainings, so in preparation for tomorrow's whirlwind PD experience, I'm carefully choosing my sessions and outlining the day. Because we are still vacationing in California, my morning will begin promptly at 6:00 a.m. I'm hoping our hotel has a nice little nook where I can plug in my AirPods and get swept away into the learning frenzy vortex alongside thousands of colleagues from all over the world.

When preparing for an online learning experience, how do you roll 🛼? Do you randomly hop in and out of sessions at your leisure, or do you plan ahead? How have your digital note-taking processes changed thanks to Covid?
I can't wait to see how others answer. I loved seeing your planned sessions. My colleagues used to call me the Workshop Queen because I loved workshops! Curious about your note-taking processes and hope you'll share some of your notes or at least your takeaways.
ReplyDeleteYour visuals and power of planning, lady, are UNREAL. Just speaks directly to my organizer heart.
ReplyDeleteI'll be presenting with Cornelius in the morning for Heinemann so unfortunately missing it this year!
You and Cornelius are going to set the world on fire 🔥. I can't wait to hear all about your phenomenal session. Heinemann is damn lucky to have both of you!
DeleteHave a great day, Tenille. (Where are you vacationing in California? Hope you are having a great time.) I do love a good workshop--and online ones have been fun and more accessible since Covid, for sure. I tend to choose the sessions early, planning which to go to. I have very few digital note-taking skills--just a Google Doc with links and notes, trying to name it and write on it everything that I will search for later!
