Seeking Serenity During Soul-Sucking STAAR Training #SOL2016

Thank you to the person who committed a random act of kindness a few weeks ago. This coloring exercise helped me stay cool, calm, and collected during our annual STAAR training. 

The lunacy of state testing makes my blood boil, and every year I become incensed as I sit through the degrading one hour torture session. 

To the fear mongering legislators and control freak bureaucrats, you'll be pleased to know I have been properly threatened, thoroughly demoralized, and completely disempowered. 

Standardized assessment sucks to the joy out of teaching and annhilates our professionalism.
